Meet Amanda, a fellow photographer (check her beautiful work out at Amanda Lynn Photography!), who joined us for the very first Portrait Pop-Up at Ampersand. In addition to photography, we also share a big love for coffee brewed up at Russian Hill's Saint Frank Coffee... and, can frequently be found needing out over photo tips and tricks together in the coffee shop's beautiful space. Tell us about yourself and what you love to do.
I volunteer CUESA as a photographer and Redemption SF as one of the leaders of women's ministry. I love people and get energy from learning about them and building them up! I find my joy in Christ and it strengthens me.
We'd love to hear a bit more about your photography work.
Photography has been a part of my life for a long time and the adventure is going really well. I love working in SF and find the variety of work really fun.
If you could recommend three things to check out in SF, what would they be?
You have to go to the Ferry Plaza Famers market. It is one of the best in the country!! Also I love the Japanese tea gardens and the museums in Golden Gate Park. Lastly spend time in a neighborhood, like Hayes Valley, the Mission or the Fillmore.
